Bush's Environmental
Record
The Bush administration has initiated more than 150 policy
decisions that are destructive to the environmental quality of the nation, this
according to the Natural Resources Defense Council, an environmental watchdog
group...
An internationally recognized authority on primates, Jane Goodall,
accuses the Bush administration of implementing policies which will cause
great harm to the world's primate populations...
Scientists charge the Bush administration with widespread and
unprecedented
"manipulation of the process through which science enters into its
decisions"...
The administration proposes to truck radioactive waste from
44 states, through the nation's highways, to be buried 100 miles north of Las
Vegas at Yucca Mountain... and proposes to build 1,000 new nuclear power
plants.
